Big Fish Dive Centre has a large selection of dive gear for hire. The centre offers a wide range of equipment that can be adjusted to suit individual needs. For cooler months, the dive centre recommends the use of a shorty over a full dive suit. The dive centre also boasts a brand new purpose-built dive boat, which can accommodate up to 20 tanks. It also has a permanent docking that makes it easy to get on and off the boat. Big Fish Diving offers many courses and PADI Specialist courses for divers interested in advanced diving.

Scuba gear

Scuba gear is necessary for exploration diving. To prevent your regulator from causing you to decompress too fast, and depending on the depth of your dive, an air supply will be required. A scuba meter can also be used to check the air in your cylinders. The gauge can be a separate device or built into your dive computer. Make sure that the gauge is rated for the depth you plan to dive.

You should consider where you'll be diving as well as your personal preferences. Some gear is universally compatible and can be used in any environment, while others are designed for specific types of diving. A diving mask is an important piece of scuba gear for all types of diving, regardless of temperature or depth.
