What is ERDI?

ERDI provides a range of educational research and opportunities for CTOs, assistant/deputy chief superintendents, and superintendents. This program has encouraged dialogue among industry leaders as well as school district leaders regarding the role of leadership and equity within the education system. ERDI hosted its inaugural Thought Leader Symposium. Here, industry and school leaders discussed ways to increase equity in education.

ERDI's programs

ERDI has a number of great programs for international students. Students at the University of Eastern Finland can take ERDI courses in Finland while they study. The programs will improve intercultural communication between the participating countries as well as address global environmental problems. Teachers from both countries have worked together to plan and teach ERDI courses. Teachers and students both benefit from the multi-cultural teaching environment.


In the case of ERDI's Testifying in Court program, students will gain insight into the court system and criminal legal processes. Students will gain a better understanding of the court system as well as how to present their evidence.

Underwater Crime Scene Investigations program

ERDI Underwater Crime Scene Investigation Program is designed for law enforcement professionals to acquire the skills necessary to conduct underwater crime scenes investigations. The course will help participants collect evidence, document the scene, provide court-ready testimony, and how to present it. Law enforcement personnel and other emergency personnel are welcome to attend the course for free.

Instructors are experts in forensic investigation and will teach the program. They are experts and certified in the area of underwater crime scene investigation. They have extensive criminal justice and law enforcement experience. They are also experts in crime scene investigation. They will provide training for law enforcement and public safety professionals all over the world.

Divers in Confined Space

ERDI is a component that teaches students skills and knowledge to safely perform limited confined-space operations. This training is in compliance with OSHA regulations, NFPA regulations, and FEMA regulations about water rescue. Students will be able respond to various emergencies in cramped spaces. In addition, they will learn how to decontaminate victims and conduct a thorough search for evidence.
