You can learn freediving by taking a freediving class. You can choose from a variety of courses, so whether you are an expert or amateur, a freediving class could be right for you. There are several different types of freedive courses available, including the PADI Advanced Freediver course, NAUI basic course, SSI basic course, and Molchanovs freediving course.

PADI Advanced Freediver course

The PADI Advanced Freediver course is a great way to further refine your skills and knowledge of freediving. This course will teach you how and when to use apnea, as well as correct breathing techniques for longer diving. Learn how to rescue a freediver and how you can perform in freefall.

After you have successfully completed PADI Advanced Freediver training, you will become eligible for the Instructor program. This is your next step in your freediving career. This course will require you to master a static breath hold of three minutes 30 seconds and a dynamic breath hold of 70 meters. No-fins diving, handling a rope and buoy, and mouthfill are some of the other skills you'll learn. During the course, you will have the chance to help an instructor.

NAUI Basic Freediver Course

The NAUI Basic Freediver Course is designed for people who want to learn to freedive and improve their freediving skills. It is a four-hour course that combines classroom discussion and pool time. The course will give you the fundamentals, as well as the physics and physiological aspects of freediving. You will also learn proper breathing techniques and equalization to deep dive. You must have swimming skills and be at least 12 years.


Before you can enroll in advanced courses, you need to have at least some freediving experience. This course will cover the essentials and prepares you for advanced training. You can then become a PADI Instructor Freediver after you have completed this course. You can also learn to freedive with your buddy in a pool, ocean, or lake.

SSI Basic Freediver course

The SSI Basic Freediver Course will teach you all you need to be able to dive in the ocean. This course offers both classroom training and practice sessions in the water. There are two open water sessions and one pool session. You will be awarded the SSI Basic Freediver certificate at the end of this course.

The SSI Basic Freediver training will allow you to swim 400 m, dive 50 m in CWT or freedive 20 meter, and then swim to the surface. It will also give you the skills and knowledge you need to dive to 40 meters or deeper. SSI offers certification programs that can be recognized around the world. You will be able dive in all oceans. The SSI Basic Freediver Courses are a great way to get wet and find out if you like freediving.

molchanovs freediving course

The Molchanovs freediving course will take you from beginner to competitive freediver. There are four levels to choose from, including a Lap Course that will prepare you for freediving in a swimming pool. Once you complete the course, you can go on to the Wave course. This will teach you how safe to freedive in open waters.

Molchanovs offers a comprehensive freediving training system that is developed by the top freedivers in the world. It also offers online training and physical instruction.
