PADI's Specialty Emergency First Response(EFR+CFC), course prepares individuals for situations in which they may need first aid. The course can only be completed if you have the necessary equipment. Content for the course

EFR is a great course that will increase your confidence and help you deal with medical emergencies. Participants will learn simple emergency procedures and get hands-on experience in a stress-free setting. Course materials include video demonstrations, self-study manuals, and quick references cards. It meets the requirements of the PADI Rescue Diver course as well as professional ratings.

CPR, rescue breathing and scene assessment are all part of the course. Basic first aid is also taught. Common diving injuries can also be treated during the training. Pre-requisites

Students are eligible to take the PADI Instructor Exam after they have completed the EFRI program. Each course in the EFRI Program begins with the prefix EFRI. It is numbered sequentially. Each course lasts for one hour. It includes 55 minutes class time and five minute breaks.

Refresher course

The EFR Refresher Course is designed for people who want to brush up on their skills. This course includes two parts: a Skill Building session and an Exam. EFR refresher courses are optional, but recommended by the EFR Instructor Handbook. You will be updated on the latest developments in CPR/first aid during the refresher course. AED usage will also be covered. You will also learn how you can instruct others to perform these skills when needed.

The EFR course is a great way to brush up on your skills and meet the requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver course. It also fulfills the requirement for Professional Rescue Diver courses and other courses that involve CPR training. It also includes an emergency first response video that assists in preparation for emergencies.

Cost

The Emergency First Responder course is a one-day course that covers all aspects of emergency response. The course includes classroom lessons, video presentations and role-play scenarios. This fee includes the PADI certification fees for two years and the training manual.
